Hello,

Machine: IGT REEL TOUCH, works with bill acceptor only.

My mission is to operate it with coins as well.

Before that, I am going to plug the cable that link the comparitor and optic assembly to the machine and add a hopper inside.

Then I will have to enter the menu thanks to the proer Keychip and enable COIN and disable COINLESS.

Am I on the right way or A I missing anything on the process?

Any suggestion will be welcome.

Thank you very much.

Disable Coinless, Set coin denomination, and if needed adjust your player denomination.

Then check your limits, coinless being enabled locks some or all of them out
When you disable coinless the limits previously locked can be changed.
I know it locks some or all of them but cant remember whcih ones are locked when coinless is enabled.

I set my coin denomination to higher value than my playing denominations, being able to do this will depend on what version chip you are using.

You are right about. Disabling coinless, but as far as programming that automatically enables coin in mode. There is no sub menu for enabling COIN. Coinless is either disabled or it's not. As far as hardware, yes, all you need is a coin head, comparitor/optics w/mounting bracket, harness adapter to plug it into the door harness and a hopper. Oh, if it doesn't have it, you'll also need the triangular shaped coin chute that mounts below the comparitor to direct coins to the hopper instead of the overflow chute also
