wow...what a bunch of  muted 's

Show them your emails poppo...go over the dummies head...maybe
you will get your items at half-price...or less >>>

I ordered a couple of food dehydrator circuit boards from Cabella's about 2 months ago.

3 weeks later, I question them and ask if they shipped the boards yet.
They replied that they lost the order but charged my bank account already!!!
They also wanted to know what I had ordered?!?!
They wanted to know my name and address
and I replied saying that I included both in all of my 7 emails to 3 different "Divisions at Cabellas" !
Then they emailed me and said they wanted my email address.... Duh! bawling

In the end, I got on the telephone with a bunch or employees that were walking on eggshells...lol
Finally, some big shot emailed me and gave me her work telephone number to get in touch with her...some secretary nervously calls me back and says that she
has her boss waiting on the line to speak with me.
We had a real nice conversation for a few minutes and she ends up giving
me both boards for the price of less than half of one!
On top of all this...I get the boards in 2 days after speaking with her!

AS the old saying goes the squeaky wheel gets the grease. you just have to keep telling the person that cant help you that you need to talk to there boss . until you get to the top dog and he or she doesn't want to deal with it.  and it usually ends up with a freebie for you.  Off Topic  Couple of weeks ago my computer monitor went black, so bid and won this one on ebay ( note first time seller Portland, OR)   http://www.ebay.com/itm/280750269393?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649  Last Friday I received the new monitor and it was shipped derect from Radio Shack. http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=10957632                   So far looks like I got a pretty good deal, $170 monitor for $66 with free shipping. Except with the monitor, I got a Radio Shack invoice showing monitor was sold to a fellow in Palo Alto, CA and shipped to me. I really don't care, I bought a monitor off Ebay and paid with Paypal but I think some poor fellow in Palo Alto bought a monitor for someone he doesn't even know.

Wow. That sure sounds like e-bay dude used a stolen CC to have the monitor sent to you, but got the cash.  IF that is what happened, you may have a visit from  police and  Don't TAZE me Bro!

Anyways, nice find Buzz!  but... rotflmao

The ebae seller keeps the $66 bucks
and buys a $170 monitor from R.S. with stolen CC card
and R.S ships to Buzz's address?

Somebody's gonna want that monitor back....oops!
But maybe not though...Radio Snack and the CC company should go after
the ebae seller for the $170 and $66 bucks.
I don't know if anyone will bother Buzz because he had no idea what was going on.

However, he might be "in possession of stolen property"
and Paypal will go after the ebae seller in Buzz's defense?

In the end - I'd use the monitor for now but keep the box
and packaging it came in because it may need to be returned to Radio Snack...lol
I hope you get your $66 bucks back...

They may not 'go after him', but I would not be surprised if he is not contacted and questioned. As he noted, he is 'in the loop'. Often items bought with a stolen CC are shipped to 'accomplices'.

SOB   Sure I'm using the new monitor, I went from a LCD to a old 13" CRT I still had. Couldn't wait for the new LCD to get here. No I won't keep the box, I could care less what condition it's in if Radio Shack wants it back. If then don't send a prepaid shipping label they won't get it back.  I would think it's up to the CC people if they want it back or not.  What's a used monitor worth ??

One thing is kind of strange, when this monitor was listed three more exactly the same item was listed by first time sellers but all were in different City's. This one Portland OR, one in Oklahoma City, and last one in Dallas. Looks like Miss Sharnell Smith ( or what ever her real name is ) was a pretty busy Gal.

It's easy. The trick is to use extremely lean meat and to remove every trace of fat you can see because the fat will spoil. No fancy dehydrator needed. I used my oven set at it's lowest setting with the door propped open a few inches. It's been a while since I've made it, though.

Update:

After going back and forth about a dozen times, I finally was able to reach a compromise. The item I was originally buying was a refurbished unit. They agreed to sell me a new one for the same price. I'm still not happy with the way they handled the situation, but it's better than waiting until Jan only to find out it still is not available. What really got me worked up was the 10/21/11 date they originally gave me as the delay date. They said that they did get more stock in on that date, but it all sold out. I asked how the hell they could sell out again, when they had not fulfilled my original order. They had no explanation.

Bunker, I think there's a word for a device that electronically (or wirelessly) transmits a physical object from one point to another. It's called a Transporter. If you only wish to create beef jerky by rearranging atoms in one location (no transmission), they call that a Replicator (similar technology). bust gut laughing bust gut laughing

If you can invent a practical version of either of them you'll be wealthier than Bill Gates. You've got your work cut out for you. Given our current understanding of the laws of physics, out of all of the Star Trek technologies, this is the one that is the least likely to ever be invented.

The idea of quantizing and transmitting the information is within the realm of possibility, but actually disassembling the atoms of an object in one location and using atoms at the target site to recreate the object (most efficient method) would take more energy than we can produce and create more heat than we could handle.

Tidbit:  Professor Even stars like our sun are incapable of fusing atoms into anything heavier than iron. Every element on earth (or anywhere) heavier than iron was produced in a supernova, according to our current understanding of the universe.
