well i looked through other post did not find the answer  So my machine is showing "dot failure" in display i assume that it is refering to the dot matrix board since it is not working now? if the matrix brd is out will that cause the rest of the machine to not work or is there some other problem? thanks for the help  -james

FWIW, my machine had "DOT FAIL" in the LED display when I bought it -- it was just the upper power supply that had crapped out.  I was able to do the easy ATX fix to resolve the issue.

Keep us updated and let us know if we can help with your machine, James!
