Saw that Fast Track Auctions had another casino sign auction last Thursday evening. This was the leftovers from the previous auction. The signs were just the plastic panels removed from damaged signs. Most panels had some cosmetic damage. But there were a couple with Mikohn meters. So I bought two meters attached to signs for $6.50 each. When I got there to pick them up also asked what else they had. Ended up buying two more meters and a Supreme controller with sign. (The only Mikohn controller they had)
The Supreme controller and 4"x32" sign (graph display) work great. Now I need a Con.  Duh!

But I can't get the other four meters to display. They are LED4's with ChamII drivers attached. Each meter is two 4"x16" panels. Each segment has four-by-four large dots. The driver panel says LED4DRVR CHAMII NEW.
Tried the Supreme Controller, that didn't work. (Thought it wouldn't) Also tried one of my ChamII+ Standalones, no worky. (Thought that might)
The power connections on these meters are beefyer than the ChamII+ power supply has, so I used the Supreme's power supply to power the meters. Power LED's light but no display at all.
I'm guessing I need a Cham44 or maybe a ChamII? Or maybe they just don't work.

Can a Supreme or ChamII+ Standalone be used for this style meter?

you need a  con1 to drive a led4.
a led4 is a cham44
joey has con1s 4 sale
make sure you have power run to each panel plus the inter meter ribbon cable

Let me rephrase the question;
I have a LED4 display meter with attached, on the back, driver board that says LED4 CHAM2 NEW.

I want to see if the display meter works. I have a Supreme and a ChamII+ standalone that I can connect to it. I know I need a CON1 to drive the Supreme. What I want to do is test the display meter. Does it light up.
Can I do it with what I currently have.

The pic below is from the back of the display meter's driver board.

A supreme needs a Con2.
a Con2 also can drive a Chamii (non plus). of course a chamii+ can be put into standalone mode.
I am not sure if a cham2 = Chamii.
I can however  tell you A chamii+ and a Chamii (non plus) look the same.

i would need to see the entire board to see if its a LED4 (that needs to be driven with a Con1).

if you want to try the supreme (without a con2) you can get the mikohn downloader program and load your graphics sequence to it.
I am out of my element here,  as all of my equipment is older.

Con1, led4, led5 are the same vintage
Con2, chamii, supreme are newer.
You cant mix meters between the two series.

Thanks for info Jay!
So I need a CON2 not a CON1 for the Supreme logic board and graphic meter.

Below are pics of my LED4. The meter is dated 1994 and the driver is copywrite dated 1990.

Uniman,
I wonder if this thread would help you?
I was hooking one up a few years ago...>>>

http://newlifegames.net/nlg/index.php?topic=1117.0

Those are the MK2 animation display boards you have there....>>>

http://newlifegames.net/nlg/index.php?topic=5361.0

I haven't played with those in forever!
Worked with a totally different board that I fooled around with for awhile.
I was forced to buy a CON2 o make it work....lol
