I'm a new owner of an S6000 (See Pic) Discovered why you don't hit the print button when you don't have any coins in the hopper! The unit shut down trying to payout without coins. I assume the print button is the payout button and must have been put into this mode with a dip switch when there isn't a printer installed? So after much head scratching when getting codes, 50 (door) 32 (hopper empty) and code 73 (3rd wheel spinning with door open) everything is finally working! I've got to go out and buy more quarters now - there are only around 100 in the unit. What is the standard refill for Casino's? The bill unit works fine - which is where we got ourselves into trouble as I put a $20 in and started to play and of course hit a win and then wonder what happens when you hit the print button. (Duh!) Good thing I don't defuse bombs for a living! It looks like the hand pay limit is 400 coins. I don't know what the procedure is to do this. I *guess* it is open the door and then re latch it? Or do I turn the key by that handle and hold it for a few seconds? It doesn't seem to do much doing this - the numbers change in the paid window - is this resetting the payout for manual hand pay? Lot's to learn here. I feel like the first day on Porsche forums! Anyone needing advice on 996/997, well I can help there! Slots? Not so much yet. <Grin>

Still trying to figure out what the reset button does - as it doesn't seem to reset anything. There is a switch for the coins above the circuit board. Turns off coin entry and only bills work? Lots to learn.

The basement is under reno right now so it will be placed near the bar when I'm done construction. Right now it's hidden away under a blanket and I've got to keep the spouse from going downstairs to the basement so she doesn't see it as it's her Xmas present! Trust me - I'm not bringing this thing upstairs to place under the freaking tree either! I'll just hand her the key and tell her to go to the basement. She's dreamed of a slot machine for years and never knowing what to get her - I spotted this one on Kijjii and did a deal. Anyway - long intro over - thanks to this site and the person who published the code sheet I figured out the codes I had caused while being a dumb ass newbie.

Cheers

FYI: This unit came out of the 'old' Casino Niagara as the new Niagara Fallsview are all now printout only and have player card slots. The build date on my unit is Oct 2006.
