Hi all,

We'll although I picked it up, my wife helped pay for it. I got my first REEL Touch Machine, Denver Duck.
A great christmas present...I'm looking forward to playing.

Which is why I need help and am posting this message.

I bought the game parts complete from a slot dealer here in town, however he doesn't like to mess with Reel Touch Machines
and sold it to me as-is at what I feel was a good price.

Prior to me purchasing it, he robbed the S2000 CPU board out of it to use in another machine.
However upon picking the game up from him, he gave me a working S2000 CPU board to use in my machine. The catch is it does not have the correct
eproms in it since he pulled it from another completely different slot machine.

So...when I turn it on, the computer in the top box boots up until it finally get's stuck waiting for the S2000 CPU board.
The netplex display reads "Machine Type Mismatch".

Here are the details about the S2000 board I received and the chips on the CPU board:
My S2000 CPU does have the Multimedia Lite board piggy backed on top of it.
With a large RAM type chip in the slot labeled:
SNDF
DSV00042

U21
Stepper Base
SB001000

U19
Stepper GME1
SG000294 (1 of 2)

U46
Stepper GME2
SG000294 (2 of 2)

U17
S-Plus Reel
SP0014

U44
Version chip
VS009SX0

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now I'd be happy to buy the correct set of EPROMS for Denver Duck that go on this board if someone has them.
Please bare in mind, as I stated above this is my first S2000 and/or Reel Touch game I've ever messed with. All I've
had in the past have been S+ Slots and a couple WMS Dotmation titles.

Here are the specs for my machine that I'm sure you'll need to know.
My game is a multi-denomination machine
Bet up to 15 lines, up to 20 per line for a total of a 300 credit bet
Denver Duck has 5 reels.

Anyone who can help provide me with a working EPROM set would be so great...and totally make my christmas :-)

Thanks in advance.
Merry Christmas everyone!

Craig

The board he gave you is set up to run a S-plus reel chip. Not sure why there is a SP chip in U-17?  Should be a SS chip for the reel chip.

For Denver Duck the SB chip should be one of the following:

SB000523  75 credit
SB000544  150 Credit
SB000545  300 credit
SB000557  450 credit.

Get rid of the SP chip all together.

I do not have any of these, but at least you know what you are looking for.  You are also going to need a clear and key31 chip

Please be advise we do not allow for buying, selling, trading, giving, asking,
soliciting or any other forum of trading bin files on this forum.

Having said that these are the chips you will need for Denver Duck; <edit>

Stepper Base: SB000545  300 credit

Stepper: GME 1 & 2 SG000387 (2 Chips)

Version Chip: VSO11GX1

Your Version Chip VS009SX0 is for a single denomination. And as coorlight115 said you do not need
the others.

Sorry everyone I didn't mean to start a fire.
And I'm very appreciative to those that have followed up by informing me of the correct chips I need to make this game works.

Also R273 you mention the chips I need, but you also say they are for Bucks Ahoy. I do not have Bucks Ahoy, I have Denver Duck.
Is Stepper: GME 1 & 2 SG000387 for Bucks Ahoy or Denver Duck?

My question is this...if I can't ask for them, but I know I need them.
Then how do you I ask?
Sorry if my question seems ignorant or stupid. I'm new to the whole hush, hush about software thing on NLG as I've never
needed assistance on the subject before.

I'm being serious though. I'm just trying to make this game work in our home gameroom.

If anyone can help me, please feel free to send me a PM.
Thanks so far everyone.

Post up in the classifieds section, and request to purchase the EPROMS. bin files are considered to be intellectual property belonging to the manufacturer of the slot machine, just like source code is for a software company.

Thanks I will post in the classifieds.

Ok, looking back over the thread.

Coorslight115 mentioned the chip found in my position U-17 is completely incorrect on my board. He mentions it there should be
an SS chip for the reel chip.

Can someone tell me which one?

I think he said you don't need it at all.

But, if you're running an S+ game in your S2000, you would need to have the SS chip from the S+ game in that slot, not the SP chip that's in there now. Since you're running an S2000 game, that socket should be empty.
