With the exception of the software, do I need to change any dip switch setting on my WBA 13 when installing it from a Bally S6000 to an GameKing.  The dip setting on the bottom of the transport are: 1,2 & 3 on. 4 thru 8 On.
Thanks,
E

all of our WBA's run in the machine with all dips off, whether a 12 or 13.  yes

the dips are used for diagnostics and testing mostly; you can disable certain denominations using the dips but we've never done it and i would have to look up which denomination bills corelated with the dips. Scratch Head

i've seen 12's run in non IGT machines with the 13 firmware flashed on them and i've seen 13's run in IGT's with an eprom with 12 firmware on it so it's definitely possible! applause

Thanks for the info.  I pulled the WBA 13 out of a Bally S6000 which had come right off a truck coming from a casino. I gues they must have disabled some of the bill denominations.  Oh well.  I'm switching all the dips to off.
I appreciate your help.

Eric  I removed one from a WBA-13-SS to get this info.   M27C4001  WBA-13-SS ID0 V3.75 NEW $5  ( Check Sum CD3B )
For some reason I have the idea a Bally has a board on the lower left side ( front ) and a IGT doesn't.   Ben is the guy that tell you what's what.

If Eric looks to me for help he's in trouble.  All I know is last year I found a bunch of WBAs and DBV 200 heads and transports with PE Bezels in a scrape yard in Southern Calif. I gave them $5 each for the DBVs and 15 for the WBAs, took the WBAs to Ben for repair and flash, he told me the boards on some of them were for different brand machines.
