I am new to this site and have been reading all the postings. It appears I have finally found the right forum to get my questions answered. I have a Bally Sevens Machine manufactured 07/96 I have owned it for several years without problem. I moved it to a new residence and it showed an error code for a low battery. I replaced the battery and now it shows an error code of 83F. Error code 83 is safe ram error but no 83F is shown. What do I need to do to fix this type error? Also the change light is flashing and will not reset.

You will have to do a clear (which you need clear chips) & setup.
Is it a 5500 or a 6000?

I don't know which machine I have. How do I find the information and where could I find the clear and set up chips?

Turn the machine off and snap a picture of the MPU board out of the tray.
We can ID your machine quickly that way.
Sometimes there's some tags on the bottom right-hand side of the machine too that will tell ya!  yes
