When I turned on my Slot Machine, I received an error message that the Battery was low....I went into the processor board and found a round coin size Lithium Battery, Panasonic 3v, BR 2330  with plastic around the rim. (Pictured ..lower left)

Question...

Can I replace just the battery or do I need the battery with legs and solder it on the board....

It's best to just replace the battery with the solder tabs on it.  I'm sure a few of the vendors up top can supply what you need.

Hello!

There are 2 batteries on a S2000 board - the one you mention and also a green one which is circled in red in the picture.  Does anyone know when you get an error like that, how do you know which one to replace?

I replaced the green one on one of my boards because it was leaking.  But that machine also wouldn't keep the time - so the battery was not working - but I never received any errors on the machine.  Now that I replaced that battery, keeps the time just fine...

The Yellow Lithium Battery is the one that causes the error code, it does not charge, the green one is ni-cad and does get recharged
