I changed the  GME 199's   to  363's  and  the Version eprom too.

Never seen this one before.   The display  on the right side of reels are showing win/credits and coins played on different levels...

Attached picture...  I just played  MAX BET... "3"  coins...

Win symbol gives me  6 credits... The "6"  coin win... shown on left side of middle display.   Credits left to play is:  26    "2"  is on the right side of (middle)  display and the 6 is below / left side.    The  coins played ..."3"  is on the bottom right.

Scratch Head       The game theme:   Triple Double Stars.

The  lower display   below and left side ( blue readout area )   pretty much just displays   " PLAY  3  COINS "  ...

Scratch Head       I've never seen this before ! !  ???

i would guess that the game still had 2 credits on it when you snapped the picture?  i suspect that the "6" on both levels is some type of display malfunction and shouldn't be there at all. Scratch Head  dunno the cause but maybe swap the 7seg if you have another and continue down the line until you find the faulty component.  good luck!

My guess is that you have the wrong 7 segment display type set in the options for your machine.  Looks like it's set for 5-5-2, but should be 6-6-3.  I thought you'd get an error message if you select the wrong one though.

good catch Tilt, i agree that this is a possibility; check your keychip settings cp.  i think the machine should tilt if the incorrect display setting is selected but it's worth a check.
i'm pretty sure i've seen this or something very similar in the past but i can't put my finger on it; i'll probably remember next week when i'm changing the oil on my car or something...damn ADHD Duh!

That definitely looks like you have the wrong display type set in your key chip config menu.
I am surprised it let you play.

When I took the picture...  I had just "won"   6 credits.   The game has  26 credits left.   I  had played "3"  coins.

I went back and key chipped a couple times...and tried to find  a display option / setting

...Couldn't find the option for the different display settings.

does the paytable show a 6 credit win for the single TS symbol?  you need to cashout before keychipping as well; this could be why you can't see the 7seg setting when in the keychip menu.  if you don't want to cashout i think you can see what it is currently set at by pressing the white button on the mpu and navigating to the keychip options.

I do not have that  (Segmanent Display Type )  in my menu.

Here's the eprom numbers:     SG000199.    Base eprom is   ...100273    Version:    VS0009GX9
Do I need to change SG / or Base ?

The Base is correct, it's what you need to have installed for a 3CM Triple Double Stars game.  I would upgrade the SG000199s to 363's.  199's I'm guessing probably pre-date the 6-6-3 display that you have and that's why your display is the way it is, but the machine isn't giving you an error for the display mis-match.
