Does anyone have a list of sound simms and associated games for S2000? I have a list but it is only for a few games.
Am looking for a sound simm for Triple Double Five Times Pay.

Have you tried the 42? It seems to be the default simm for the common/generic type games

I'm not aware of a specific DSV for that theme.  I would suspect a 42 is it.

I can't get a 42 to work in any either of my S2000 machines. Get Incompatible  error. The 42 is for a Vision machine.

I use the 42 on my Triple Double Stars and Triple Red Hot Sevens. Also used it on my Double Diamond till I sold it. I know the list of games it will work in is pretty long though on some the full range of sounds isn't available. Heck, it even worked on my Crystal Sevens to a limited degree

You don't have to say a word Ford. All I am certain of is every game I have tried the 42 simm in I get an INCOMPATIBLE DSV/SOUND DEVICE error.

In my experience the 42 should work in alot of games.... I have a thought here... Are you sure that your 42 simm is not  bad? Scratch Head Scratch Head Also maybe your MMLII sound board could be bad? Scratch Head Scratch Head

Your DSV00042 sound sim card should have a checksum of 4EBB.
Of course, it will cost one couple of thousand dollars   money money to check that out...  rotflmao

OK, here's a clue no one came up with, at least I never heard of it??

After hours screwing with simm cards today, ( not to mention the myriad of times I tried an 042 simm over the past year ), I decided to go into 3.2 and check the setting. All I did was set the settings to my preferences and the 042 worked. I then took the 042 out, put the MPU back in and started the machine up. Of course I had to change the settings again. I then put the same 042 back in and got the same INCOMPATIBLE message again.

I then went into 3.2 and reset the settings again and it works again....
