New to the site and looking to see if anyone has a URL to a manual or instructions on how to change the payout percentages for this machine.  Appreciate the help.

Hello & Welcome,
The % can not be changed by a simple adjustment.
You need to change the software : 2 EPROMs U18 & U20 (named Personality Chips) on main board.
Each game theme usually has 4 to 6 (from 85 to 97 %) : see the list made by Wayne (1st topic in Bally Reel Games).
When you change U18 & U20, you have to do a Complete SafeRAM Clear.
I can send you a manual to your email address. PM me if interested.

Here's the machine I have.  It's a Five Times Pay Theme.

So I found the chips (U18 and U20) on the main board and my machine shows that it's set to 92.92.  Are you saying that I would have to get different chips programmed for different percentages?  Also, is there a way to control how often each of the winning prizes hit?  For instance, main jackpot hits 1 in 10,000 spins, second highest hits 1 in 8,000 spins...

The only way to get different % is to change the personality chips.
92.92 (SMI#8342) is pretty good.
There is NO way to control how often each of the winning prizes hit.
Generaly, the higher levels of % give more frequency on small hits.
The odds to win top award are often the same.

Understand, too, that the jackpot isn't guaranteed to hit on spin number 10,000.  It could happen the next time you play the machine, or you may never see the jackpot hit over the next 30,000 spins.  If the odds of lining up the jackpot symbols are quoted as 1 in 10,000, it just means that it will hit it at that frequency on average.

...and yes, as bruno said, the only way to change the payback percentage of the machine is to install EPROM chips with a different payback percentage program on them.  Also understand that payback percentage is calculated over millions of spins.  Anything can (and generally will) happen in the short term, from the machine barely paying out anything, to sometimes paying out well over 100% of what it takes in.
