The same in what way? Other than the Wild Cherry symbols saying double on them the payouts would be differant also because a pair of Doubles would pay 4X the win instead of 2

I'm slightly confused because I'm getting a different way of spelling that popular game name or different games altogether.
The reason why I'm saying this is because the "Wild Cherry" and the "Double Wild Cherry" games were originally S+ games.
They kept that exact name when they went to the S2000 Vision games
and added "Wild Cherry Pie" but didn't use the "Double Wild Cherry" name alone - when as plain S2000's.

When they went to the S2000 platform, they added other names along with "Cherry"
In the S2000 platform, they named them:

"Wild Cherry" (SB100094, SB100095, SB100171,SB100172)
"2 For 1 Wild Cherry" (SB100262)
"Triple Double Wild Cherry", (SB100312, SB100313,SB100661, SB100664, SB101353)
"Double Wild Cherry Bonus Wheel" (SB100633, SB100634, SB100818, SB100819)
"Big Times Pay Wild Cherry" (SB100663, SB100665)
"Triple Cherry Bar" (SB100852)

My guess is that you have S+ strips?
I need the exact name of your game and what SB chip are you using.
I can look it up somewhere on the internet for you?

Both use different strips. The S+ and S2000 original version of Double Wild Cherry didn't have a 2X on the WC symbol. The 2X didn't come along until Triple Double Wild Cherry then on to Double 4X Wild Cherry. FWIW SB00009 and SB00010 are the 2 and 3 coin base chips for Double Wild Cherry.

After a closer look you can use the Wild Cherry strips for DWC, you just have to offset the strips

Here lies the Question i have the double wild cherry 3 coin glass but no reel strips or SS or Sb chips . I was trying to find out if the wild cherry and the double wild cherry was just in the payout of the SS or Sb chip . i did not know there were specific reel strips for the double wild cherry game .  BUNKER did not list a Sb chip for the double wild cherry game is this not a s2000 game  . are there backlit strips available for it ??  lots of questions i know but you guys always come through with the answers  thanks PB

Aren't those two particular SB's without the number "1" after the "SB" - for the Vision machine Brianzz?
I didn't list those ones for Plunger Boy for that reason.

Let's wait for Brianzz's response because if he's right, you can use the SB000010 3 coiner
and your favorite SG pairs such as SG000363's.

If not, then I'd wait for another answer as he may have more info than I on your game.  yes
I had no clue how the symbols were laid out on that game... no

Double Wild Cherry uses strips that look just like Wild Cherry Strips but they are offset
The offset is 4 physical stops or 2 non blank symbols.
So you can use Wild Cherry strips for a Double Wild Cherry.

Once a year....  Crazy

Aren't those two particular SB's without the number "1" after the "SB" - for the Vision machine Brianzz?
I didn't list those ones for Plunger Boy for that reason.

The lowered number SB's are for the most part for vision games, but there were some chips when S2k's first came out that worked both ways. When used with a vision game the LCD would display "Good Luck" "Congratulations" etc.

If the first 2 were specifically for Vision you could always use SB100818 2CM or SB100634 3CM Those are for Double Wild Diamonds but it's a DWC clone.

You can use backlit Wild Cherry strips with an offset, if you feel like destroying a set of reel strips but they're pretty common, so have at it if you can find the SB chip for it.
