I recently purchased a red white and blue slot i'm trying to restore. I have been searching for info on the system but I seem to have come up emtpy handed. I'm looking for a replacement power supply for the psa4012igt dc PS in the system and I was hoping to find a wiring diagram. Anyone have any ideas where I can find this stuff? A point in the right direction would be awesome!
Thanks
Carl

Welcome to the site, Carl.

I think the number you posted is for the power supply for your dollar bill validator. Is that what you're trying to repair or replace?  Is your machine an S+ or an S2000?  (If you don't know, post a picture of it and we can identify it.)

What else isn't working about your machine that you need a wiring diagram for it?  The more you can tell us, the more we can help you.   yes

Yes the dc power supply for the bill collector is fried. I was thinking about purchasing this model http://www.alliedelec.com/search/productdetail.aspx?SKU=70069790
I believe the machine is an S+. it's the slant top model.
I was looking for the wiring diagram because I have a couple wires (red and green colored) disconnected in the upper portion behind the payout glass.
Other than that everything in the machine works fine. Just waiting for some time to tear it down and rebuild the wood sides. They are in pretty rough condition.

Good Morning Carl,
Welcome to NLG.  propeller
I'm pretty that if you placed a WTB (Wanted To Buy) ad in the Classifieds section of NLG,
a member will spot it and try to get a hold of you with good, working bill acceptor power supply! yes
The slants are hard to sell because they're so bulky and heavy to move around
so a lot of vendors strip them down for parts
and there's a lot of parts available for the slant top models.    psa4012igt dc PS
Yours is the silver case with vents and two black power wires coming out the side right?

I never had an S+ slant manual really, but maybe another member might have one for you
and be able to tell you what the red/green wires are for in the topbox of a slant model.

Those wires may have been for the player tracking equipment that previously was installed in the machine by the casino (those rectangular holes under the top glass).  If your machine is working normally, I'd leave them alone.

To be on the safe side - tape them up with some electrical tape
so they don't cause a problem shorting out on the metal in the topbox later on.  yes
