I am new to the slot world.  I have a bally 809 and it has a 25 cent coin acceptor and a 5 cent hopper.  I believe someone had put quarters in it and when it started to pay out a quarter got stuck in the coin ejector and caused some damage to the gear section where the hopper and motor meet.  If someone has any idea what I need to fix this let me know.  Also I would like to get a quarter hopper for this(complete) slide in.  Or if I can fix this I will need a nickle coin acceptor.  Thanks for any help.

Post up some pictures of your machine and the hopper.
Some of the glass on the Bally machines was denomination specific.
If your reel glass and award glass has award amounts in $$$ then if you change the coin denomination the payouts on the glass will be wrong.
Best to determine if the machine should be a nickel or quarter first.
