I bought an IGT slant top video poker that the coin comparator is a 6 pin connector but the connector provided is a 3 pin female. Will your CC 100 connector help me? It is a .05 slot

I still haven't seen a game that uses that cable. Are the optics built into the comparitor  on those machines or what?

Thanks Buzz, I got one once when i ordered for an S2000 and they exchanged it for me, but claimed up and down that it was for an S2000. Can't imagine how it would work other than for a machine without separate optics. Haven't looked at an S+ for a couple years though, do they have separate cables for comparitor and optics?

Yes Sir it's a small pig tail just for the comp. Bally 5500 used almost the same thing except the plug to the machine was square.

It does sound a little silly, 3 wires coming from the door to a 6 pin connector on the coin comparator, but that's exactly what you need.  ( all 6 pins on the CC are not used )  As I recall the comparator on a S+ uses 4 pins, one on those wires loops from one pin to another pin.  If you look at that sorry picture margiekiesub  posted you can see a jumper wire.

The Molex connector in your hand has a male housing with 3 female receptor pins.
That should be coming from the Coin Mech Harness.
There should be 4 wires coming out of the back of it.
Your picture has your fingers covering the wires though.
The center receptor pin has two ground wires doubled up - they are orange w/green stripes.
FYI ...>>> The #1 receptor pin is the one on the pointy side of the Molex housing -
it is marked on the other side of the housing itself.
That plugs into the short 3-pin to 6-pin harness that goes into your coin comparitor.

Basically, you're missing the short harness that you see in my photo that has the black plastic cover on it.

I tried to show you in the attached photoshopped photograph.
I hope this helps you?
Click on photo to enlarge if needed...>>>

I will order the part from Margie this afternooff if you think that willl solve my issue. I am going to shop around the website a little more to see if there is anything else I need to save on shipping. The shipping alone for that piece is nearly $10.

Okay,

I bought the cable and hooked it up and it works great except now I've got a loud humm from the coin comp area when the game is idle. When the game is on play, reels spinning, the humming stops and one they stop and it pays off they start humming again. It is not a faint humm it is a loud annoying hum

Any thoughts?

Let me know if that right
