Eprom programmer Rommax 4G (b-2276)

I like their programmers and own a Chipmax and 2 Topmax programmers.

While the software is listed on the site, they have no listing of supported devices for that model any more... and no manuals to download.

You may be able to contact them via the web site and get an electronic copy from them.

If you can't get to it, I'll send it to you privately!  It might be able to do the 2716 but I don't think the 2532 is in the list...the pin-out is slightly different from the 2732 that I think it can program.  I'll help you out if you need it.  I do the 2532 on a programmer attached to me AIM-65.  daveC

You can try to build a quick adapter to program the 2532 as a 2732 but you have to be careful about the voltages.

2532 = 25v Vpp
2532A = 21v Vpp

Thanks for the tip.  I executed the rommax_p.exe file and made sure to name the directory C:\RM\  since that's where it wants to look for the device library and it gives me the device list as you said and both the 2532 and 2532A are on the list so no adapter should be necessary.  Does anyone have any info on how to do any of the newer flash devices such as 29F, 39F, & 49FXXX?
