I have a Williams Dotmation Model 40X and I just encoutered a new problem.  When I power up, it doesn't boot anymore.  All I observe is the Dotmation display loading the promes, and the flourescent bulbs come on.  No Beep or Bong sound and no Reel initiation/movement.  Basically dead, then the Dotmation screen goes blank.  Does this sound like a power supply Problem?  The I/O board shows the 2 outer voltage LEDs illuminated.  The Failed LED is NOT illuminated.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks

All of the voltage LEDs need to be lit on the main processing board in order for the machine to work properly.  If some of them are not lit, it is indeed likely an issue with the lower power supply not putting out all of the correct voltages.

I too have the same problem.  What is the power supply part number?  Tollguy, to you still have power supplies?  If so, what is the cost?

It definately sounds like a power supply issue.  There are two power supplies on these units.  Upper and lower.  I have owned 4 Williams machines and they are bullet proof outside of the power supplies.

I am selling 2 405 machines a Jackpot Party and a Winning Streak with an extra conversion kit, and a Barcrest Run For Your Money machine if anyone is interested.  Check the classifieds section on the site to find out more.
