This may be old news to you guys but I figured I would post it anyway in case it can help someone out.  If you have a door lock (non tube lock) with no key or you just want to use the same key for all of your locks it is fairly easy to do.  At least all my locks are this way.  First picture is the little lock stop that needs to be pried off after removing the arm.   Now you can slide out the lock cylinder.  The second picture shows the cylinder with the wrong key in it.  You can see how the pins stick out preventing it from turning.

Final picture after I have ground the pins down flush.  Now it will work with the key that I had.  You need to leave the key in while grinding the pins.  You may also need to clean up some burs on the pins as well.  A hand file should also work fine.

Keep in mind if you do this the lock will still lock but  it is far less secure.  Many keys will un luck it now  but for in the house it works for me.  Besides you can pick these locks un modified in about 10 seconds anyway.
