One of the wires has come out of my coin comparitor harness, where do I unplug it from the machine?

I want to replace the plug as one of the wires has come loose, I see harnesses available on line like this

http://www.slotdoctor.com/proddetail.php?prod=bally-proslot-comp-harness

but I do not see where to connect it if I buy the one pictured.

Maybe I should buy it & cut the end & solder the new plug to the existing wires?

Not sure about the harness in the link you provided.
My Bally 5500 Pro-Slot does not have a connector for the harness.
When I has the same issue as you, wire pulled out, I had to pull the coin compairator and inner door panel out to crimp on a new terminal.

Only other way is to remove the entire door harness from the machine. Way too much work for a simple connector.

Thanks, I saw 5500 in the description & thought I was an idiot for not finding the connection.

Does anyone have a good coin comparitor plug they want to sell?

Thanks

Huh  I guess I don't have these plugs, must not if they didn't use them.  Oh and guess I didn't remove them from a Bally 5500 !!!

I did not say you did not have these plugs, in fact I linked to one in my OP, I have seen plenty of examples online of these harnesses, my harness does not attach like that, it just joins the bundle that runs to the back of the machine.

If anyone has a harness like Buzz has pictured they are willing to part with please let me know.

Thanks

Why not buy from Buzz if he is willing to sell you one?
I got one from him as well as a few other bits for my 5500 and all went really well. I live in Ireland and he posted them to me quickly.
He is a really good guy.

Hey Buzz,
I don't think all 5500's were created equal.
My 5500 does not have that wire harness. The leads come straight from the door harness without any connector for a pigtail like yours.
In fact mine doesn't even have those wire colors going to the compairator. As memory serves me it's Gray, brown and red. Maybe a Black..
