I have a IGT S-plus ( think its a s-plus)  the model #B4934cfw . It was made on 2/95. It is a Double Wild Cherry 2 coin machine that takes quarters .The parts I need is a processor board with the game chips programmed and installed. It has a bill valuator installed. I also need a coin hopper ,coin acceptor and a play max credits SW.

I bought a slot machine and the above parts are missing. Could someone tell me a good place to go to buy those parts.

Thanks Rick

Is it an upright or slant top? Posting pictures always help to identify machines.

I was not trying to post a add for a S2000 I was asking where I could buy some parts for a slot machine. Thinking you guys would know.If I'm not supposed to ask that question here then I want do it any more and I will go to the cassified add section. Thanks and I'm sorry

I think you are misunderstanding. I believe the comment was about the other post, not yours.

Once we know exactly what you have, we can help you. The pictures are not only to make sure it's a S+ (which it probably is since it has a BV) but to see what else might be missing. So pictures of the inside cabinet and door will help.

ok Here is some pictures of the slot machine I bought. What you see is how it was when I got it. I notice that it does have a processor board. I have never powered it up.

Yes, you need a game chip since there is a clear chip in there now. You would also need a SET chip to enable the BV.

If that reel chip is labled right, it's for a 3 coin Double Cherry Bar.
http://www.newlifegames.net/igtbible/IGT%203CM/Game%20Library%20-%20S-Plus%20-%20Double%20Cherry%20Bar%20(3%20Coin%20Multiplier.htm

So, as it stands, you have the wrong top glass, wrong bottom glass, possibly wrong reel strips and missing a game chip.

Your best bet at this point might be to try and find a complete kit that has the right glass, strips and chips.

If you really want it to be a double wild cherry, you need to verify the reel strips are correct (for starters). Hard to tell from the blurry picture.

Ok, it looks like those are Wild Cherry strips.

I hate to say it, but you really have a hodge podge machine there. Sort of hard to determine just where to start. Before you go buying glass kits, you probably need to see if it works. Since it has a clear chip in it, you should be able to power it up with the door open and then press the little white button next to the power switch. The LED display should count up a few times. If it does that, at least it is somewhat working. If it won't, then you have even more problems.

If it does count, the next thing I would do is get a game chip like a SP1271 that will work with the Wild Cherry versions. Then you can see if it will power up without a bunch of errors.

Yes, It did a full RAM clear.
The machine is Cleared when you get to [999].
Now you need to power down the machine & take out the MPU.
Never install or remove any electronics with the power "ON" okay?

Now, install an SP chip in that socket with the notch on the chip facing the same way as the SS chip.
Then install the MPU back in and power up the machine.
Before you do though...read some of this stuff okay? ...>>>

Bunker,
Not sure if you read the whole thread, but he doesn't have a game chip at this point (or a bunch of other stuff). At least this is a start. He should get a SP1271 and a SET090 to move forward.

What chip number? Can't tell from your picture. It also looks like you may have a 16MHz MPU, If so, you will need a SP1272 (vice a SP1271 as previously mentioned). We need a better picture of the MPU (what you are calling the processor).

I know what you meant, but it's called a MPU. And the board that it plugs into is called the motherboard. We all need to be on the same page when it comes to terminology, so everyone is talking about the same thing.  yes

So, what socket number is empty, and can we get a better picture of the MPU? If it does not have a bank of DIP switches on the right side and a blue volume knob on the top, it's a 16Mhz MPU.

It's important to know if the MPU is a 10Mhz or 16Mhz. As noted above, you need the proper game chip depending on the speed of the MPU. The main difference is the 10Mhz board has a volume control knob where the 16Mhz one has the volume controlled in the software. Also there are DIP switches on a 10Mhz board for setting options (not used with newer SP chips). The 16Mhz board does not have them at all. So you must use the right game chip, or the board will not function properly. Also the reel chip will need to be 120ns or faster on a 16Mhz MPU. This will come into play when you decide what game you want this to be.

I look at the MPU it has no dip sw,s or volume control . So I guess it is a 16mhz
