WBA-11-SS not working after game change

I changed my game from a 3CM Double Diamond Delux to a 2CM Hawwire Delux. I changed both the Game and Reel Eproms. Prior to changing the Game chip I used a Set #15 BV chip to set the denomination to .25. It was already a quarter machine before I changed the Game Eprom. Now the BV will not light up. It does seem to cycle when I turn on the power but will not light up or accept bills.

Does the Set 15 chip need to be used before the game is fully changed and working or could it be that now that the Haywire game is working I need to use the Set 15 BV chip.

I have never had a need to use the set chip before so this is all new ground for me.  Appreciate any help you can offer.

do your set chip again and make shure you change from 9  0 to 9  1  and I have always done the set chip after the game change you will also probly have to change the 5  1 setting to either 5  2 or 5  0 or it will just spit coins out at you when you insert a bill

The bill validator seems to get knocked out when you change to a different type of game chip (SP). If you change games and use the same type SP chip it sometimes (most of the time) will still be enabled. At least this is what I have found.

I wanted to say "THANKS" to all the fine people who offered help with this game change.

My 4 year old grandson, who really liked playing this game has gone home now and so I really dont
need to be constantly reloading credits for him to play.

I will be taking out this game and changing back to something I and the wife enjoy later this week.

I have a 3CM Sizzlin Seven
          a 3CM Red White and Blue
          a 3CM Double Diamond Delux
          a 3CM Triple Diamond Delux
          a 3CM Hot Peppers
          and of course this Haywire Deluxe.

I also have the following SP chips. SP873
                                                 SP611
                                                 SP809
                                                 SP709
                                                 SP1271

Is there one SP chip that would work properly with all of these games, or at least a large percentage of these games so that
I would be able to install that SP chip and change only the REEL chip for any of the games I own ?

Keep in mind that I only have the one SET15 BV chip.

Keep your SP873 for the haywire game and use SP1271 for all others.
