Ok, I am ready to hit yall with another mother load......
On the issue of keys and locks.. Along with my chips related issues, the first thing I want to do on both of my pair of S2000's is to get all the locks inside and out put back on both machines.
Neither of my two machines have any locks, keys... I do not know if the main door has the hardware on it to lock it on either machine....
My MPU board has a hole for a lock... No lock... My bill validator has a hole or a place for a lock... No lock there either...
My door has two holes for a lock.. My assumption is one is for the main door, and the other lock would be for the lower door....
I DO have a reset key and lock! YAY!  applause

So... first questions

1. How many total locks are on the inside of the machine?
2. How many locks total are on the outside of the machine including any that may or not be on the back side or some that I am not aware of yet? (have not seen the backside of my machine)
3. Are there any locks that may be missing that I am not aware of?
4. I assume there is not a lock/shield/cover for the coin hopper? What keeps someone from dipping into the coin hopper if they can get the door open?
5. I realize I will have to purchase all of this stuff, and I assume all the lock cylinders are the same size and everything, but what about the hardware on the door for example, and the (fingers?) on the back of the lock cylinders? How do I know which ones I will need as I have seen many types of the hardware on the backside of the locks?
I will use fingers as I do not know the correct terminology for the hardware on the back of the locks.

S2000 upright locks all are standard 58" or 7/8" (1/4" spacer required) cam locks with either a Clockwise (CW) or counterclockwise (CCW) to unlock depending on where installed.
Outside machine has 2, if you count the door on the stand total of 3. stand if wood will need a longer cam lock usually 1-1/8" works but that can vary by stand design
Main door has 2 locks
Main latch - CW 1.75" straight cam
Belly Door - CW 1" straight cam works It might be bit shorter.  IGT actually calls for a L shaped cam so a strong person with tools cant pull the latch open.

Inside there are 4 locks
MPU tray 1 CW
BV Chassis door 1 CW
BV Cash Can 2 CCW - for dual custody like safe deposit box at a bank.
This is how I have my locks configured and do not have nay issues.

In a Casino, Security and other personal are going to know the main door is open as far as I know they do not cover the hopper remember the coins have to enter and if a coin can get in a tool can be used to remove it.
1 The machines are connected to a network that reports door open or other machine events for each machine.
Some casinos require employees to carry employee cards that go in the player tracking system (use of pin most likely required) while the door is open.
2 I doubt a employee would risk job and jail for stealing from a hopper.
3 I doubt any one with brains would try to break into a machine see #5
4 Casinos like to use High Security Locks like Medeco, and others. Only a few people at the casino can order keys or locks keyed to their keys.
5 Eye in the Sky can see 99.9% of the things that happen in a casino

I have all 6 locks installed in my machine and 1 in the stand
4 of them are Medeco DuraCam locks (main door, MPU tray, and BV door)
2 of them are 7 tumbler round key locks keyed alike on the BV cash can.
1 cheap single bit lock - will be replaced eventually.

Now here comes the hard part the cams (finger as you call them) if you get the ones IGT puts in the hardware kit for the machine fit most but not all cam locks.
Example I cant use the cheap single bit locks at all with the cams IGT uses.

Once you have the cam locks
'Remove any nuts from the cam lock
slip the lock into the hole secure with nut and washer if included
now find limiter and place on the stud at the end of the lock so the lock either turns cw or ccw from its locked position if it goes 180 degrees try the other limiter.
the limiter (not sure what the actual name is) looks like a flat washer but has 90 degree or so notch cut on the outside edge.
install the cam, washer and nut.
repeat for the other locks.

I Think so but also depends on what is available near you and if you want them keyed alike, very handy in my opinion.

The locksmiths near me want about 15 for a tubular lock and may charge for the longer cam needed for the main door lock, depending on who I check with.
They wont have the BV cash can cama normally.

Also check with Raz410 he has locks as well, and he probably has the cams you want for the machine.
The only difficult cams to get is going to be the BV cash can ones.
I will see if I can post a picture of some of the cams.
