Does anyone have a manual that has the dip switch and jumper settings on the MPU for the Bally V5000 video poker machines?
My manual is only the Installation Manual and that's all I see posted here on the site also.

All I get is a green screen and it reads Personality error
Don't know if it just need a ram clear? Need chips and keypad ?  bawling
Any help that might lead me in the right direction would be helpful.    wave

Maybe it doesn't like your attitude.   Tongue Out

Sorry I don't have anything useful to say here -- did you ever figure this one out?

Keep playing around with different combination of Chips, Boards and Personality proms.
I got two boards to come up and play. One has Jacks or Better and the other is a version of duces wild.
Would still like to know what the jumper settings are for and I noticed that some personality proms will need the Bally keypad to do set up changes and the others are done with the reset key on the machine and on screen programing. I believe the keypad is only used for 5000 games/proms and 5500 will work but use the on screen programing.
Thanks to Jim at Midwest he has loaned me a reset chip. It has been VERY helpful and so has he. applause applause applause

I have a V5000 poker that has 110v to all service outlets, but not to lights or monitor.  Just need the cabinet wiring diagram.  Can anyone help?
