Tonight we were playing family slots....my daughter was on the DD and the bottom glass came open while the reels were spinning because she didn't close the door well enuf when she took the money out. Now, no matter what I do I can't get the wheels to stop spinning. I have rebooted and same thing. Display says bill validator drawer open, door open etc. should I clear chip it out and reset it it? Would that work? I can't believe that just since the door opened that something would have broke.  Scratch Head

No...re-seat the cash can fully towards the back of the holding bracket.
Make sure the latch on the cash can is fully in the up position.

Clearing the machine will only bring back the error code for the cash can if it's not seated right.
Also, after making sure the cash can is fully seated and the belly door is closed correctly - close the door and turn the reset /Jackpot key once.
Then close, open and close the door a couple of times.
It may be a "stacked" error.

You just have a reel tilt.  Turn the machine back on, close the door, wait for it to boot up...the reels start spinning again.  At this point, open the door and turn the jackpot key.  Problem solved.

On your machine the belly door has a switch that is inline with the main door optic, so when you open the belly door it is the same as opening the main door.

as Bettor Slots said you have a reel tilt which will occur when the main door opens during the current game play.
I believe all modern stepper slots will do this, to prevent cheating by anyone in anyway.
I suspect a video slot would tilt when its door is open as well to prevent some from playing from the hopper with the door open.
