SP070 very early Game (SP) chip, the Game or SP chip is the operating system for the machine.
SS3635 is the reel (SS) chip, the reel chip determines what game theme is, any special features and what payback percentage is as well.

The glass and reel strips are a custom theme based on Purple Passion.
Over the long term your machine will payback 85.096%.

I searched the IGT S+ game bible to find the original theme since your theme was not listed directly in the 3 Coin Multiplier (3CM) section

Type SS3635 site:http://www.newlifegames.net/igtbible into your google search box if you use Firefox
The above works for other SS chip numbers as well.

Here is a link to the purple passion theme.
http://www.newlifegames.net/igtbible/IGT%203CM/Game%20Library%20-%20S-Plus%20-%20Purple%20Passion%20%283%20Coin%20Multiplier%29.htm

The IGT bible is available on the main page the link on the right side of the main page.

Good luck with it.  Let us know if you run into any trouble.

Here's the list of common S+ errors should you run into any: http://www.newlifegames.net/igterrors/

First make sure the sample coin in the back of the coin comparator is the same as what you are trying to use. In other words it has a quarter and not a token if you are using quarters. also make sure it even has a coin. If that does not work, with the door open, press the little test button the arrow points to and see if it puts a credit on the machine. You should be able to play the credit with the door open.

Going by the picture you posted, you have a SP070 game chip. It might be hard to find a PSR (Program Summary Report) that lists the options for that chip.

So, first go to this link
http://www.newlifegames.net/spset/SPSS.htm
and follow the directions to verify what the game chip number is. For all we know it may be labeled wrong. Post the numbers that are displayed (all of them).

If it is a SP070 and nobody has a PSR for it, you may be better off just getting an updated game chip. The newer SP chips have more options anyway. I'm assuming the game is a type 0 (the test above will tell us) and something like a SP1271 would be the best.

Well, the SS3635 checks out. As noted above it's a clone game of Double Diamond which is a type 0. If you want, shoot me a PM with your address and I'll send you a SP1271 (no charge).

Ok, while you are waiting for the SP1271, attached is the PSR. Also you may want to read the thread linked below to get an idea of the common settings. Since you don't have a BV, you can ignore any references to it.

BTW, I am also sending you a better % reel chip and a clear chip. You should not need to do a clear, but in case you do, it's handy to have.

Chips were mailed this morning.  When you put in the SP1271, you are going to get some errors. Just use the guide to clear them. Then if you have any questions about options, someone here can help. Changing the reel chip might toss up an error, but it won't affect any options. Be sure to install the chips in the right direction, and be careful not to bend any pins. Also never pull the MPU out or put it in with power on.

To be clear, I was stating that I was giving him a K+, not that I was instructing you to do so (although it was perfectly correct for you to do so, too!).  yes

It should not matter about the credits as they will get wiped out anyway when you change the chips. It's all part of the security. I suggest changing the game chip first (the SP1271), clear the errors and get it all set up the way you want. Then if you want, change the reel chip.

Have the error clearing guide handy as you will get several, especially since you will be switching to such a newer SP chip.

Note: You do have to have zero credits to change options. Also note that the SP1271 does not use the dip switches on the MPU, so they can just be left as is.
