Folks,
There are three different XU27 Chips.  Known as the XU27 percent WMS chip which are hard to find.

One is a blank chip - V-BLK-1xx (label)   - I think this chip is used to protect the XU27 from taking a % chip
One is a Percent Chip - V-PCT-1xx   -  The one we are all looking for
One is a EFT Chip V-EFT-1xx -   ACP Chip - Advanced comm protocol - Electronic Funds Transfer (Encyrpt chip)

Becarful just asking for an XU27 chip or buying one off ebay without knowing if it's the right one.

adding to that, if the xu27 came with a board, it's most likely NOT a percentage chip as the machine will not ooperate normally with it.

Many will come with

which is required in some JUR

But you can get it to work correctly if you really wanted to leave it installed

Hello,

Do you know where i can get a XU27 EFT Chip V-EFT-1xx -   ACP Chip - Advanced comm protocol - Electronic Funds Transfer (Encrypt chip)?

Also is it needed for AFT/EFT funds transfer or is it just for setup purposes?
