Hi Vic-

Yes, you can increase the credits that the machine will hold, up to 9999.  Please see the attached documentation for your SP chip (which is the "operating system" software of your machine).  Page 17 of the .pdf file specifically addresses credit limits.  If you have any questions on how to work through the configuration menus, ask away and we'll be happy to help.  Keep in mind that you can not adjust credit limits or make many other changes while there are credits on the machine.  You must play off or cash out any credits on the machine before attempting to make configuration changes.

Yes, you can buy different kits for your machine.  You have a 16" IGT S+ slot machine.  A kit for your machine will include a new 16" top glass, a new belly glass, reel strips, and a new reel (SS) chip.  Some kits will require a new game (SP) chip, depending on the game type.  Some kits also have their own unique reel glass.

Information on how to change games in your machine can be found here:

Note, that link came from the FAQ files.  If you haven't looked at them already, please click on the "Rick's FAQ Files" button in the upper right hand corner of the page to see all of the FAQ files, which will give you a lot of good information as a new IGT S+ owner.
