Ok, if you have the multimedia lite board II, I am lost by this XXXXX notation.....
would the DSV for Phantom of the Opera be notated as follows?

DSV Phantom of the Opera?
Instead of DSVXXXXX?
OR...is there an actual 5 digit number for Phantom of the Opera?
Also if for example if you have a Phantom of the Opera game, and you only have the DSV00042 simm installed you will get generic sounds and not sounds that were meant for the Phantom of the Opera theme?

Sorry for confusing anyone.. I simply dont understand what "XXXXX" in the manual means.. It has to be spelled out for me AND written out for me in detail or I need a picture book.

All IGT part numbers are 8 characters or numbers... When someone uses DSVxxxxx, the x's are basically place holders. SO a "42" sound SIMM is a DSV00042 officially in IGT's system. Some use DSV42, but that is more like slang, and not fully correct. The SIMM for Phantom of the Opera is DSV00004. I am not sure what sounds you will get with a DSV00042 with that theme as it varies with different themes as to what you will actually get from a DSV00042, but you will definately not get Phantom sounds without the specific SIMM.

according to the manual list... "Double Diamond Run, & Double Diamond"
has a specific simm but I can't find one for Double Diamond?
Is there one, or do I just use a "DSV00042?"
I guess by that not all theme specific games have theme specific sounds...some do..some dont...kinda nuts if you ask me...

I just had a thought here... You said that your machine used to do the dollar amounts on the bonus, but now it only does credit amounts. I know that you changed the SG chips to get multi-denom so that you could feed in the Bejamins like you desired. Here is what I am wondering now that you say you are on the Legacy Sounds... maybe that changed the bonus sounds? Maybe try to change the sounds to enhanced or whatever the other options are and try it for a while to see what the bonus sounds are like? I know it is a long shot, and the game chip change may have been the culprit, but this is worth trying in my opinion!

"Roughly the equivalent of a S+ "SP" (or GAME PROM) chip.  The SG chips are the operating system of sorts for the S2000 games, and many support multiple game "types", using similar type definitions (Type 0 = generic, no nudging, no respin, etc. -- Type 2 = Haywire, Type 5 = 4th of July, etc.).  Per r273's post below, it may also store legacy sounds, control reel lights, coin validation, hopper operation, nudge and Haywire operation."

i have it on the prefered sounds,  they are pretty much the same as other sg chips but when the guy says 1st offer 2nd offer, and so on its in credits....... im thinking maybe its in credits cuz those sg chips are multi denom so in order to have multi denom on top dollar the bonus round has to be in credits......so im thinking if i can find single denom sg chips for top dollar that would support the split screen on the vfd and let me put the benjis in to equal $500 a credit if it would change the bonus to say it in dollar amounts.......i wish someone can just make a tito board that would allow you to use tickets without a pc hookup, that would solve all my problems lol...... cuz honestly i was playing the machine today and it gets old feeding it 3000 for 3 pulls....lol this vid was in prefered sound not legacy..... i wish soneone on here had a top dollar to compare notes lol....
