Yes access the option menu by pressing the wihite button on MPU. Look at vfd display on door and use buttons on door to advance and choose options. Check the Submit New File link.

With machine on, open main door, press switch sticking out on processor/cpu for 2-3 seconds ,leave door open if you want (ajar) and you will see menu in lower vfd-accounting, navigate thru this using the buttons on the slot control panel, spin button enters selected menu, bet 1 button will let you see whats listed in that menu, as jeff stated you need to be in machine options (I think 3rd menu) you will see. Play with this and you will get the hang of it.  Also if you have a mmlite board (simm) installed you will need to go to multi-media sound as well.  once in the menu you want to change press spin button and use left buttons bet-1/cash out to change/enable/disable etc. .  Hope of some help B.

Why not just a volume knob (pot)?  Scratch Head
What is the logical reason for making adjusting the volume such a pain in the a%*!

There are other adjustments in the sound option menu other than GAME.  There could be as much as 7 different adjustments in the sound menu depending upon if you have a MMLII card and sound simm installed.

.....and if you have a vision machine there are even more options that control the sound generated by the flash card.
