Hi,

I'm having trouble swapping SB chips from a progressive 5 reel Double Dollars free spin game to a non-progressive Triple Stars game. I just got the 5r Triple Stars kit today, after i swapped the SB chip, I powered up the machine, I get an alarm and cleared it with the jackpot key, I did a few key turns and pressed the button, closed the door and went through this NETPLEX thing and the VFD showed 'call attendant'. Opened the door, got another alarm with some kind of 'asset fail' i forget what else it said. I couldn't get my new game to boot up. I switch the SB chip back with the old game boots up and shows "link progressive down" after boot-up. I couldn't figure out what the problem is.

before i changed the game i unhooked the mikohn II progressive unit from the game, the whole shootin' match
any help is appreciated.
thanks in advance

You have to key chip the machine and disable the progressive in 7.3.1

thanks foster, i'll see if i can find a key set chip for it. I'll probably buy one from Blue Ridge Slots or somewhere i can find one. or maybe borrow a key 17 from Phil.
