Have a Diode next to the flyback
Part number looks like G11-1200 or G11-120D
What is it
Can't find a schematic on line
Model number LP1215HVN

Curious, NTE doesn't have a cross for that either. Are you reasonably sure about the two part number options?

It being a rectifier and not a zener diode I don't see why not. You wouldn't want to go smaller. What's the amp rating on each?
