I got a cherry master 96 .....I was wondering if you can add more games to it. I have seen some that you choose out of 2-4 different games when you put your money in it. I'm new to this and wasn't sure if it's possible or not.

Thanks so much for your time,
Tammy

You have to change the circuit board and get one with that particular feature. eg. Poker Master (Cherry & Poker game to choose from)

Does anything come up on the screen when you plug on the board (correctly) and turn on the machine ? If you did something like make the 12v go to the 5v circuits then the board is done, it would be more economical to just buy another board.

Look inside and see what's causing the power supply to short.
Maybe there's a quarter touching two wires together?
Are there any broken wires? Exposed wires? Does it smell like something plastic burning inside there?
Dig around and see if the board look like it's burnt underneath...somewhere in there, there are two wires or something touching when they shouldnt be.
Post some close up pictures of the board, and inside of your wiring...I'm sure we'll get your game up and running again...all we need is more details and photos!
The best picture you can help us with is a good photo of the wires coming off your power supply box.

I really don't think your circuit board can cause the power supply to short, look on the smaller edge connector to see if any pins are touching that shouldn't. Here is a wiring diagram (name of game doesn't matter all 8-liners wire the same) : http://www.glamusement.com/Manuals/CH96.pdf
The font and back pins are joined and every two pins go down in this order, first two = GND, second two = 5v, third two = 12v, fourth two = depends on your pay out set-up, last two = GND.

Hi Tammy,as asgard said...it's nothing you can do to the board, it is the way the"game" was designed. The one that comes to mind is Magical Bomb, which has five diff.games to choose from...Slots,soccer,scratch offs, shell game and regular 8 liner.

Hi cherry man , in order to short(blow out) the power supply in a C.M you would need to hook a wire up wrong. Switching either harness on the board will not blow it. Any chance your power supply is 1.5 inches X 6 inches(about  Tongue Out ) with a inline filter on the power cord coming in? When you turn it on does any of the lights on the (player ) switches stay lit?
