I am getting 2 large black vertical bars on the video display and it looks like the display has shifted to the right and the part that is off screen is now showing up on the left. Can someone pleae help me and tell me if monitor is gone or is it the video eprom. I am a newbie and any help would be grateful.

it would make it easier on everyone here if you could tell us what model of monitor you have and maybe post a picture of the monitor with the problem on the screen.
