Ok..here it is...I FINALLY got the audio working in the "Pinball" vision game. For some ODD reason, someone installed a Multimedia Lite board in this machine. (Picture Enclosed)

It has the SIMM module in it, but for what game? after removing it, restarting the game it works without the nasty reel noise!
It also had the wrong cable from the LCD display to the audio amp...
Can we say "Frankenstien" machine? Someone sure got into this one and messed it up.... good rainy day project....
Can anyone tell me what machine this board fits?  thanks as always!

Is it possibly the Cap (Caps) that are causing that noise? the original cap is an Axial 1000 uf 35Volt, the 42 simm is the S-2000 Generic Simm

Maybe there was a different game kit in there at one time?

VERY possible of that, as the cabling to the LCD display was not bundled with the rest of the topbox stuff. The LCd unit is spotless, no dust/dirt in it at all but the rest of the topbox is dusty. It looks like someone tried to convert it and gave up.There is no way this thing ran correctly in this configuration. The labels on the CPU chips are very clean too for the age of the machine, looks like a new genuine IGT factory chipset. The audio cable was all by itself, but there is another audio cable in the bundle that does not have the 4 pin and 2 pin molex that feed the audio to the LCD and then to the audio amp on the back wall...
MM board and SIMM are now in the "Spare Parts" area....ready for a S2000 if/when i get one
