Advice needed.
I would like to change bill validators on my Bally Diamond Winners and a Williams High Speed slots from JCM DBV-145-SG ID 044 to a JCM DVB-200 ID 044/045.
Is this possible, and if so, are any other changes needed, and what chip would I need to accept all new bills?

it's totally possible!! WOOT!

all you will need is the 200 head, you can use the same transport!

can't help much on the version you will need; i haven't had a DBV200 validator in a machine for probably 8 years.  applause

contact one of the vendors and i'm sure you will find a DBV200 head pretty easily - with the most updated version too probably!!

For all your software questions regarding JCM validators, like what version is the latest, what changes since the last update, ect...
The JCM web site has a software information section.  http://jcmglobal.com/en/support/downloads/SoftwareInfo.aspx
You fill in as much or as little as you want. The more you fill in the more specific the list you will get.
Once you complete the search, click on the "software " link to get the PDF information sheet. This has information on changes, dip switch settings ect
If any one has any questions on this topic, feel free to contact me. I was JCMs trainer for 12 years and I managed to soak up a lot of information about all their products.
