This S2000 has a printer in it. So what display should it use? The one I have goes all the way accrose the door and cover up the printer opening. Now this display is not the one that came with the S2000 slot machine.I'm attaching photos of both .
cowboyslots ask me if it was a  5 digit or a 6 digit. I don't know how to tell. So please look at he photo's tell me what you think.( Now that I had a better look I know that the dispay that I have will not work ,but will the same vfd that works on the display in the photo work on the display that I need for the slot in the photo.)

                                            Thanks Rick

You've got the wrong display for the machine in the picture as it already has credit/win/coins played meter installed. They make a shorter version of that display for your type game. By five or six digit display I'm refering to how many numbers your credit meter will show. Your long one in the pic is referred to as a 5-5-2 display. The other option would be a 6-6-3 and it's determined by the number of displays used to make up the unit. Count the segments in each of the red sets of LEDs on that long display and you'll see what I mean

Yep, all vfd's are created equally and then mounted into differant brackets for differant applications. The one you have can be shortened to fit your game but we'll need to know what type your other display is to determine if you'll need the board pictured in your other post
