we are opened a home sale store on us 58

hit 105 here fri   , fri nite we had a big storm    wind over 80 mph we lost 5 trees and power 16 hours, temps dropped to 70 from 98 in 20 mins, was in 60,s this am  right now 102 in shade  , tonite will be are 1st nite in  new home , no comp /or dish yet , hope a good dinner and some cold coors

Palm Springs, CA area  110 degrees today, 110 yesterday here too!   very hot  We would welcome a storm coming in to cool the place down but you can keep the 80 MPH winds!   When its this hot outside, there is nothing to do but hang out in the air conditioned gameroom and drink ice cold coors light (which is what I have been doing)!  chug  cheers

Only in the low 90's here (WY), but the fire west of us is hot enough to create it's own weather paterns. Firefighters reported lightning within the fire last night. One of my co-workers parents lost the family homestead last night and my ex-wifes family lost the cabin her dad built shortly before he died a couple years ago. Just a bad deal alll over the country...

sorry to hear about that, couldn't imagine having to deal with losing my house and having to start all over.

104 today in my neck of the woods up here in Idaho!  Been triple digits for the past few days.  But, I don't have too much room to complain...I check up on Bullhead City and Death Valley....holy crap that's hot!!
