Ok, I am completely lost here, hoping for a little insight.

I just initiated par resets and asset changes on 5 S2000 machines today which require a ram clear per compliance.

I used clear IVC000224 to clear ram and then keychip 45 to setup.

Once I got everything setup, I realized I no longer had a primary sas channel 3 to set them to, I only have OFF 1, 2. From what I understand the S2000's won't communicate on any channel except 3. WHAT DO I DO NOW?

Please help if you can.

Thank you,

How are the machines connected to the host?
Channel 3 is J82 on the Communications board.
Channel 2 is DCS port on the motherboard or Fiber Optic port on comm board from my understanding.

if you are are sure that you use channel 3 then you need to change bally miser off or another channel before trying to use channel 3 for SAS

They are connected via J82, rs232. I have like machines that were not changed and they are all on channel 3.  I will know for sure in the morning but I'm sure I turned miser off.

Thank you for the prompt reply Foster

Foster is correct in what he is saying, after a RAM Clear IGT's default Bally Miser to Channel 3, change this to Off and it will free up 3 for IGT use

Whew, the excellent minds at NLG saved my bacon again. These were the first S2000's I have ram cleared, I don't have to mess with Bally Miser on my AVP's after ram clear. NOW I KNOW  Silly Me!
Thank you guys for your help (and for such fast responses)
