I would like to use this display in the photo ,but I don't know where to hook the red and green wire .This is a double diamond s2000 slot. If I use the shadow box and the touch pad the demon can be changed. I don't want this I want to keep it 25 cents. Any help you can give me in this I would appreciate. Thanks Rick

There should be a 2 pin Molex Micro Fit Jr connector in your door harness that is the same as the one the wires are in.
my machine seems to be missing it, but I have come across it in friends machine.
If you cant find it look at the wiring going to one of your switches, you should have an extra of 4 wires tied up near your max bet switch
if you do use the red, and black with red stripe
red is +13V - connect the red wire to this one
black with red stripe is Ground - connect the green wire to this one.

The picture you posted is a VFD for a 552 display so it's not capable of LED/touchpad denom selection, so no worries there. If the harness on your machine is for a 663 display you may not have the plug you're looking for included in the door harness. Should you happen to acquire an LED shadowbox it will of course give you one of the tools needed for touchpad denom selection, but that's only if you utilize the option. Those LED shadowboxes still make for great decal backlighting on single denom machines.

That's the problem there is not.

Slip the wires into one of your player switch/lamp assemblies and it will light up at all times the machine is on.
the red wire goes to the red wire on the lamp assembly
The green wire goes to the black with red tracer usually found at the bottom terminal of the switch
I did the same thing to power a remote control receiver that is in my machine to turn on Autoplay
