La I/O de la 038 no sirve y por ello cambio a I/o y CPU de 039...pero ..hay algo mรกs que cambiar??

Me pueden clarificar el tema??

O tambien tengo que cambiar el backplane....???

Gracias

Ok, in a nutshell....he wants to convert his 19" GameKing from an 038 to  039.  Needs to know if he can use the current backplane with a new I/O, or if he needs to change the backplane as well.

And he much appreciates and respects you guys and the forum....

Simple answer:  Yes.  I've had the older GK 38's and  just put in  3902 board...no problem.  ( You can only use it as a  Game King / Multigame. )... you probably won't be able to load an  I game + / game onto the (older)   Game King.

Why can't you ??  If you don't have a 10 button deck you have to use the touch screen for some options, no big deal.  Wait a minute what's a I Game +  ??????????? ( Give me a example )

Yea... I'm probably wrong abut installing  I game+ into a game king changed out from  38 to a 39.  ( I'm fairly new to all these systems.)

But I was able to put in a 3902 board (Game King format)  into a 38 GK  format/ machine.  I think that was the original inquiry.

Thank you very much everyone for the data .. Buzz consultation now .... if I change the station and put one of 14 buttons .... could run smoothly?

The attached picture is a old Game King machine with a 3902 MPU using  I Game + software. The machine still has the original backplane and IO installed.

Buzz.. Thanks....I will change the GK (038) button deck with a new 14 button deck.... You think I would be able to load an I Game /+ (039) game with this new button deck? Using the  GK 038 backplane....
