What's the diameter of your tokens compared with quarters?
Much bigger, or just a little bit bigger?
You can often bend the 'tangs' of your cradle to accommodate slightly larger coins.
You may have some work to do on the coin pathway, and also the hopper disc/pinwheel.

I've done a couple of mine. I ended up swapping out the metal coin acceptor with a plastic one. I found that the magnets were easy to remove from them so a token would pass through the acceptor. That is as long as you use the quarter sized tokens and not the slightly larger ones used at some pizza places.

Now to high jack this thread with a similar problem..

I'm having a small problem with under paying of jackpots with my early style hopper in my 742 Money Honey since changing to tokens.. It's been averaging one coin short since changing to tokens, was perfect with quarters. The tokens are quarter size, same thickness and Dia., but feel slightly lighter? It seems the first coin doesn't always come out but falls back into the hopper?? Have any ideas OldReno?? My later style EM and E-Series hoppers that use the knife on the hopper wheel work fine.

I had $50-$70 dollars in each of my five machines.. By the time I figured out my kids were walking off with then I had less then $50 total. So I feel your pain too..
