The 3 IGT S+ machine I bought have player tracking hardware installed.  Hardware consists of the card reader, single line output screen and a black box in the upper cabinet that this connects to.  The screen currently displays reader inactive.  Was hoping maybe there was a way to display a message on the screen or maybe the old casino message.  Coming out of the box are a couple wires that have been cut, I assume when it left the casino.  Any ideas?  Also if this has been addressed elsewhere my apologies.

there were a lot of different ones used, can you snap a picture of the back side of the units in question, most likely you have the Acres stuff, but could be early mastercom. Picture will tell us.

The two wires were likely the feed to the master computer.
I think a couple of the guys have hacked the "inactive message" to say something else.

Pretty much not going to happen   no
Old stuff that requires back of the house computer servers, nobody I know cracked that one yet. Replace it with a mastercom setup from RAZ here with programmable message that he will do included in the price. applause
