I got a hold of four 17" monitors with touch screen by Kortek.  I have three 25-pin and one 19-pin and the connectors look the same as my Game King.

Is it okay to just put the monitor in as-is? 
Do I have to replace any parts or modify anything?

No don't plug those in. plugs are not wired the same. Igt uses a netplex touch shreen controller and the one in the monitor will be a RS-232

my 17" stand up Game King i picked up recently has the Kortek LCD touchscreen monitor in it.
model # KT-LS17E8(UR)

works fine for me.
