I have an issue I am trying to solve on a machine I just birthed today.  It is a multi denom 5 line RW and B multi credit per line.  I am running a a sb100463 base chip, sg563 game chips, and the gx1 version chip.  I have the enhanced non flash board.  I used the 224 clear chip and the 45 key chip to birth the machine.  Now when I went in to change the bill limits, credit limits, etc, it doesn't give me the option from the attendant menu.  Any idea how I can increase the bill and credit limits so they are more than $1000?

IF you configured the machine in 7.2 Key Config 2 for Coinless Enabled, that is why you cant change the machine limits.
That is the only reason to not set it to coinless enabled.

3.1.4 Limits This page allows the setting of the following machine limits: hopper limit, credit limit, jackpot limit, and bill/voucher limit.

I will have to try re-keying it.  That is what I thought Foster.  When it is running the screen displays insert coin, but it won't let me change limits.  Could I need a different key chip?

Key 45 is just fine.
If you get a key chip failure usually means you left credits on it
It wont let you change any key chip settings with credits on it
Also do not close the door at anytime during key chip stuff until you are done.
