Flash Authentication Error
Component SHA-1 Mismatch

any ideas?

Well, unless you can figure out which component on that board is defective........it usually has to do with the sound chips if it's related to SHA.   Could just be a bad connection.

thanks to idesign I took a hard look at the board under and saw that a few of the solder joints had been mashed and were in contact with each other.  I used a razor blade to separate where they were touching.  It's working now.
