Good day,

Would anyone know where I might source the schematics for Twin Cobra?
I recently purchased a 'working' board, but unfortunately it arrived via the post DOA Sad (good chance of that happening I guess)
At present the game reports RAM, ROM & Sound OK, but then stops with a white 'HW ERROR' message.

*** UPDATE : Got the board running, it was just very power hungry and needed feeding! ***

Thanks anyway...

Hi,

Got a related but general question..

On inspecting the board, I found a cluster of 6 "2148" 1024x4bit SRAM chips that a rather warm to the touch.
- Not quite finger burning, but a lot hotter than any other chips.

Will try an find a source of these online, in case they need replacing - but I guess I should check the surounding logic & voltages
as not to blow the new ones.

My question is should they be warm at all?  I know some memory chips (for example in the zx spectrum) do get very warm under normal operation.

Regards,

Is there a release of the schematics for this game, anyone source them?

I hunted my usual spots to no avail.

I have the manual which was easy to find.

Didn't want to start a new thread so dug this one up Smiley

Cheers
