I have a Hantarex Polo monitor chassis for Mortal Combat with a 25" screen. While playing the game I can here a "pop" sound coming from the monitor from time to time and sometimes when that happens the screen will jump a little. I need to know where I can send the chassis for repair. The colors on the monitor are fine and there are no lines in it or no wavy picture, could just need a new flyback? If so I can probably install that myself.

Thanks

You might start by making sure the anode lead from the flyback is correctly mounted to the tube. If it is then check for cracks or damage to the case of the flyback. They can sometimes be repaired by a big glob of silicone over the crack or whatever

Hey Hey
You can send the monitor to me for repair if you like.
A way to determine where the spark is coming from is to watch the back with the lights off and see the "blue spark". I does sound like a flyback leak like cowboy said, but ya never know and I have found some tricky ones"in the dark"
