Universal Cactus Pete Horseshu Arm hanging up

Hello.  I'm new to group.  I have a Universal slot that when I pull the 1-arm bandit down it sticks and then I have to move it laterally a number of times  :279-to get it to release.  Any help tips on how to get this arm to flow smoothly and back into its original position.   Thank you all for your time and help.

Been a long time since I've seen this problem. But I remember it's a lubrication problem.
Grease the rectuglar rod below the large spring and hit the inside center area with a little WD40.

Thank you very much it worked perfectly.  I used Tri-Flow, it's like wd40, but with Teflon.  They use it on gym equipment weight stacks so they glide nicely.

Another issue if you don't mind.  I just brought home a Williams Dotmation Jackpot Limbo.  It's still in my Explorer on its back.  the Dot Matrix right side fell down in the back of cabinet when I hit a bump on the road and is still hitched on the left hand side.  Nothing looks broken, but is the dot matrix on the right hand side secured by screws or a latch.  Should the Dot Matrix be fine?  I can plug it in to try to see if it lights up before I take it out tomorrow.
