Hello,

Wondering what people do to protect "fragile" glass artwork.  I have a slot machine and the payline glass was peeling.  Luckily it was only in the black area so it was pretty easy to fix.  I followed a similar restoration that the pinball folks use by applying Krylon triple thick and then painting the damaged areas.  Came out pretty nice but when I was peeling up the painters tape (was applied after the triple thick was cured) it still lifted the artwork in one location. Duh!  I've fixed that spot now as well but i'm very nervous about future damage to the glass.  I've put several coats of the triple thick for added protection but was wondering if anyone had any other fail safe suggestions.  I thought about putting a piece of clear adhesive backed plastic over the whole back of the glass but not sure if that's wise.
